Tournament of Honor Homm5 Art Contest
With Heroes V's release no earlier than May, ToHeroes.com is preparing for the new game with improved automation and a new look. Inspired by Nival's art contest, we are looking for some good artists to submit homm5-related artwork for the mainpage image map, and subtournaments. As for a general idea of what we are looking for in a mainpage image map, simply look to the mainpage on ToH, or our older black dragon image for the past season.
Prizes are $500 if the image is used for the mainpage, and $200 for every image used for subtournaments. The new look will revert to a 'darker' feel with a black background, so keep that in mind, as well as keeping the image not too cluttered, as space will be needed for text and menu buttons. Contest ends on March 31st, and payment is made via check or western union. Contact admin@toheroes.com for any more details & artwork submission.
Some amazing talent was shown in Nival's art contest, and it would be nice to have some original work applied to the upcoming Homm5 ToH Season.

In addition, 25 Quality Points have been given out to selected ICTC entries to signify their quality.
All ICTC entries are now in the new Age of Heroes Coliseum forum on Heroes Community.
Now, given that Nival will accept entries in English, and given that each of the winning entries can be positively improved from the feedback it received, instead of making translations I am making the winning threads sticky in the AOH Coliseum forum and invite every single ICTC participant to help make our winners the best possible masterpiece out of their entry. We have another few days before the Nival deadline, so let's make a push for it as a community, and help our champions! ICTC Continues!

The Mystery #1 AOH ICTC HOMM5 Prize is Revealed !!
Age of Heroes International Create a Town Contest is now almost over, so it is time to reveal the grand top #1 mystery prize! The prizes for our contest are generously provided by DGA Games, the manufacturer of Heroes 4 Card and Tile Game. I've previously hinted that it has to do with HOMM5, and that it is better than getting a free copy of the game. Behold, here it is:
Along with getting the Deluxe Heroes IV CTG Starter Set with 6 booster packs, the #1 AOH ICTC winner will be Immortalised as a hero in the upcoming Heroes 5 Card and Tile Game !!!
Jonathan Bjork (startune on HC) from DGA Games explains: They send us a picture, we make a hero card based on their pic and name. We will let them choose a town to be from and their hero specific special ability will be Master Builder: This hero subtracts their level from the card cost of
increasing the level of his town. Card costs may be reduced below 1. This is a really big deal since it costs so much to level up towns to their max (level 8) in order to build their Grail structure.
This will be a rare card, and it will be be available in the game / booster packs, so the AOH ICTC winner will be a sought after hero for quite some time. Now the big questions is - who will it be? ThE_HyDrA and I should have our judge ratings completed in the next two days, and the three winners will be announced then. Aside from the top three prizes provided by DGA we will have quite a few HC red stars to give away to most active and notable ICTC participants and the top entries will be published on Age of Heroes.
FriendOfGunnar proposed to keep ICTC going indefinitely, as a roleplay, which is being organised here.

Heroes V Dev Letter 2: Handling a Beta Test
Heroes V Producer Fabrice Cambounet's second instalment of development letters has surfaced today, with its focus being on the numerous beta testing phases that the game has undergone in the lead up to its release. Fabrice gives an insight into the Ubisoft's and Nival's tasks during the Closed Beta Phase, the advantages and disadvantages of conducting a beta test, and the organisational preparations needed to co-ordinate 15,000 players. The letter is an interesting read for all those interested in what a Beta Test really involves. You can see it here, or at the Ubi Forums.

New Heroes pages
With all these new heroes disclosed by the official site, it was high time to work out the heroes section, and... that's what we did! Now you can see the brand new heroes (the latest sylvan for example) or all the open beta heroes (sylvan again), with attributes, starting skills, warmachines...
