Heroes V: A Host of New Screenshots and Concepts

Since the beginning of the Open Beta Test, screenshots, concept art, and previews have all taken a back seat to the actual game. But now, after many fans have been able to test the newest version of the game, information about it has been appearing everywhere. We now finally receive an information update from the official site itself, including some previews of artifacts and spells.

Final Heroes 5 Town Construction Interface Revealed

Fabrice Cambounet had posted an illustrated article describing the development of Heroes 5 town construction interface, from the very first interface test to the unveiling of the final decision. Read it here. Fabrice plans to continue posting similar development articles at weekly intervals.

AOH ICTC: Entries Closed - Time for Visitor Ratings!

All entries have been finalised - no more adding or editing. Now the visitor rating phase begins and you can be one of the judges! Visitor ratings constitute 50% of the final score of each contest entry. There are some great prizes at stake so your honesty and careful analysis are essential. AOH International Create a Town Contest Closing Soon

Contest activity has been high at HC in the last few days with new entries being posted and older entries being polished off. Panduwana has put together a very nice categorised list of over 60 contest entries.

The contest will close in about 12 hours from when I posted this note, at exactly 23:59 on 5th of February GMT 0 - see this thread for instructions on how to convert this time into your local time. Any editing or additions to your entry after the closing time will disqualify it. Details of the next visitor rating phase of the contest will be announced at closing time.

On a lighter note, a group of contestants, as a community, have created a town that features elvish swimmers, mega bites and one of the most unique creatures imagined so far - the fortress whale, which can sing and float over land... yes, there's a pic too :)

First Heroes of Might and Magic 5 Avatars!

Transparent avatars of all creatures from Heroes of Might and Magic 5 beta have just been uploaded to Heroes Community! As a bonus, there are also war machines and a couple of heroes.
When selecting your avatar, make sure you make an informed decision. Thanks to Lord_Crusader for helping me with this. We now have over 1200 avatars to choose from.

Dungeon Heroes pics and bios

Heroes V: Artifacts and Spells Updates!

Age of Heroes' newest team member, Sfidanza, was at it again, creating a completely sortable Artifacts page! It can sort by Name, Slot, Type or Cost. Once again, you must be warned that it is a list compiled from the Open Beta only, so there are components which may be altered in the future as the game evolves.

In addition, Oakwarrior and I have created a complete spell page - detailing all four Spell Schools and 43 Spells: Light, Summoning, Destructive, Dark.
