Heroes V: New Video
News on the Nival Website states that a Russian games journal called 'Navigator of the Gaming World' will feature a video on Heroes of Might and Magic V. It will be available on November the 17th, but for now, a preview video can be downloaded on Nival's ftp, here. The picture may not appear on your computer, but you will still be able to hear the sound. The movie contains nothing new, merely an advertisement video featuring compilations of older screenshots and movies.

Heroes V: Gamespot Academy Preview
Gamespot has conducted an interview with Nival's Creative Director, Alexander Mishulin, where they explore the Academy and unique abilities of various towns. The preview can be read at Gamespot, or here, at Age of Heroes. For French readers, the Academy's introduction, description and history can be found on the French Might and Magic Site. In addition to this, the Heroes V section of Age of Heroes has been updated in the following ways:
- Added un-upgraded unique creature descriptions for the Academy.
- Official Screenshots page has been updated to include the newest 7 screenshots. (Two of them are on this page).
- Academy Hero and Town Introduction page.

Dark Messiah: Video Interview
A new Dark Messiah video was unveiled today on the Official Might and Magic Site. In the video, Ubisoft's Associate Producer, Erwan Lebreton, speaks about the universe Dark Messiah will be set in, it's links with Heroes V, and the endless possibilities that will be available to the player, partially thanks to a dynamic environment and Valve's Source Engine. The movie is 3:53 long, and is 7mb to stream, or 30mb to download.
Dark Messiah is developed by Arkane Studios (Arx Fatalis), and is scheduled for a release in Summer 2006.

Heroes V: New Question and Answer
Nival's budding public representative, Larisa, has been spoiling Russian viewers of Nival's forums over the past couple of months, and today has answered 36 questions concerning Heroes V. For native Russian speakers, you can read the Q&A in it's original state in this thread (at the bottom). For everyone else, Sarsis from the Ubi.com forums has posted an English translation. Among the most topical information was the return of the Phoenix (obviously not at Sylvan), each alignment will have its own specialty (e.g. Necropolis - Necromancy), and ranged units cannot mount towers.
