Winner of the ICTC3 Announced!

The ICTC3 had more than 40 competitors, but only one can be the winner. Golemcrafter won the ICTC3 with his amazing town, the Netherworld. Right after him came Baklava, with his promising town, the Portal. 3rd was GenieLord, with his Druidic Order. Every competitor of the first three places wins a custom T-shirt with his faction logo, and Golemcrafter wins also "King's Bounty - The Legend" for PC, and a custom flag with the Netherworld logo.

Thanks to the judges, FriendOfGunnar, TDL, and Kookastar, which also arranged the entire contest, and to the visitor judges, such as Snatch, Tobius, Momo and Mytical, that worked hard to mark the towns. To see the full results, and the ratings of all the towns, press here.

Heroes 5 Weekly TotE Quiz Has Ended

The Heroes 5 Weekly Tribes of the East Quiz started more than four months ago, run by TDL and Elvin, and after 8 rounds, more than 100 questions about TotE and tens of competitors, it has ended.
Radar is the great winner of the quiz. Falkenstein got to the 2nd place and InfernoX880 to the 3rd.

Deadline of the ICTC3 Extended

Due to requests of the competitors, the deadline of the ICTC3 was delayed to the 24th of March, 5 days from the original deadline. There are currently 38 new towns suggestions (index) in the contest. We would like to invite you to be a visitor judge in the contest. Only HC members can judge. The insructions for visitor judges are here.

Weekly Chat Meetings and even more ICTC3 Updates

A chatroom for Heroes Community has been opened by Radar. There are weekly chat meetings every Sunday, on 18:00 GMT. To enter the chatroom, press here. Everyone is welcome.

More information about the ICTC3 has been released. The prize for the winner is "King's Bounty: The Legend" for PC, and a custom flag of the winner's faction. The top 3 contestants will also receive a T-shirt with the faction’s logo.
The factions will be judged by HC members and the winners of the previous ICTC's; FriendOfGunnar and TDL, as well as the organizer of the current contest, Kookastar.
It's still not late to compete!

HC's Got Talent Winner and ICTC III Updates

The HC's Got Talent 2008, the second season of the famous talent contest, has ended. Baklava is the winner, with his ranting talent. He managed to beat Daystar (animations creator) and William (electronic music maker) at the final, and was declared HC's greatest talent!

The ICTC III has progressed a lot since it was first announced. Many creative and intriguing factions have been created, and they can all be found at the ICTC 3 Town Index. If you have a good proporsal for a faction, you are welcome to compete. The deadline has been declared: the 19th of March.

ICTC 3: Create a Dream Town for H6

The third Intenational Create-a-Town Contest has been announced by Kookastar, at the Age of Heroes Coliseum. Not a lot of details about the contest have been released meanwhile, but we can tell that it is about creating your dream town for Heroes 6.

Even More Modding

Fiur has completed work on his sharper texture mod for creatures. This mod improves the graphical details of all creatures in Heroes 5 TotE. "The creatures will look 100 times better" (screenshots and download links in Fiurs thread).
Inspired by Fiurs work, Suraklin started similar project - sharper terrain textures!

Sfidanza updated his Creatures Framework, this new version adds 200 slots for new creatures (up to 499), and experimental support the necromancy skill, more details in Sfidanzas post here.

Thoughts and Suggestions for Heroes 6

Only several months have passed since TotE, the last expasion for Heroes 5, was released, and already many discussions and questions about Heroes 6 have been appearing, eventhough there are no official announcements about it yet.
Many suggestions for Heroes 6 factions, creatures, systems, gameplay and more, can be found at the Altar of Wishes forum's index, on Heroes Community. We will be glad to see more original suggestions for Heores 6. If you have a suggestion that you consider good enough, post it at the Altar of Wishes forum, so we can discuss it.

TotE Weekly Quiz and Coliseum Contests

The Heroes 5 Quiz is back, and this time it's about Tribes of the East expansion. This quiz, run by TDL and Elvin, drew a lot of attention several months ago, and now it's back alive. Everyone can still compete. For further details and competing, click here.
