|||
---|---|---|---|
Peasant Health: 10 Damage: 2-3 Population: 36 Cost: 15 |
Shots: N/A Attack: 6 RangeAtt: N/A Defence: 7 RangeDef: 7 |
Mana: N/A Speed: 2 Movement: 9 AdvMove: 18 Killing XP: 4 |
|
The peasant is the backbone of society. Each peasant rises 1 gold per day in taxes for their lords. | |||
Comments: A weak creature which has very low attack and defense ratings. The Taxpayer ability is the only element which makes this creature worthwhile, and therefore it should be left in the garrison where it contributes considerably to the income if there enough of them. |
Bonuses at Sea Bonuses at Sea makes this creature faster and allows it to do more damage when fightinh on the deck of a ship. Its Melee and Ranged Defense also increases. |
|||
---|---|---|---|
Pirate Health: 10 Damage: 1-2 Population: 24 Cost: 22 |
Shots: N/A Attack: 11 (17 over water) RangeAtt: N/A Defence: 9 (13 over water) RangeDef: 9 (13 over water) |
Mana: N/A Speed: 5 Movement: 6 AdvMove: 29 Killing XP: 7 |
|
Pirates are at home on a swaying deck, so they move faster, do more damage and take less damage when fighting at sea. | |||
Comments: The Pirate is a weak level 1, and is only useful at sea where it gains some needed strength. The rareness of this creature, and the annoyance of its dwelling only being at sea makes this creature less sought-after. |
Immune to Visual Attacks Naturally blind creature are Immune to Visual Attacks. All abilities and spells that influence vision (like Blind and Stone Gaze) do not work on it. |
|||
---|---|---|---|
Troglodyte Health: 14 Damage: 2-3 Population: 19 Cost: 28 |
Shots: N/A Attack: 11 RangeAtt: N/A Defence: 9 RangeDef: 9 |
Mana: N/A Speed: 5 Movement: 6 AdvMove: 29 Killing XP: 8 |
|
Troglodytes are naturally blind, so they are unaffected by blinding spells and the stone gaze of medusas. | |||
Comments: The troglodyte is a solid creature with a high HP rating for a level 1. It does good damage, and is immune to visual spells like blind. Its relatively cheap price makes it a good asset in the early stages, or for a secondary hero. |
Undead Undead creatures are not affected by morale, or by spells and abilities that only work on living creatures. Some spells and artifacts (such as Holy Water) have special effects on Undead creatures. Undead creature, however, give an additional -2 penalty to all non-Death creatures.Toughness Toughness increases this creature's hit points. |
|||
---|---|---|---|
Zombie Health: 24 Damage: 2-4 Population: 15 Cost: 35 |
Shots: N/A Attack: 8 RangeAtt: N/A Defence: 10 RangeDef: 10 |
Mana: N/A Speed: 1 Movement: 4 AdvMove: 18 Killing XP: 10 |
|
Zombies are remarkably hard to destroy. | |||
Comments: The highest HP for a level 1 creature, and while it has strangely low attack an defense ratings, its damage compensates for it. The only other problem is its slow speed, and average movement makes it difficult to reach the opponents. The Zombie is a very expensive, but very strong level 1 creature. |
Level 2
Ranged The Ranged ability allows this creature to attack enemies at a distance, but in melee combat this creature does half damage unless it has the Normal Melee ability.Flying Flying allows this creature to fly over obstacles, creatures, heroes and castle walls.Random Harmful Spells This creature attacks with Random Harmful Spells, casting a random Chaos Magic or Death Magic spell on its enemy. |
|||
---|---|---|---|
Evil Eye Health: 26 Damage: 3-7 Population: 6 Cost: 220 |
Shots: 15 Attack: 8 RangeAtt: 16 Defence: 15 RangeDef: 15 |
Mana: N/A Speed: 6 Movement: 6 AdvMove: 29 Killing XP: 51 |
|
When Evil eyes attack, they randomly cast a harmful spell on an enemy. The possible spells include Curse, Disrupting Ray, Slow, Sorrow, Weakness, Magic Leech, and Misfortune. | |||
Comments: A fairly good level 2 shooter, and the spells it possesses certainly help. While the Medusa is better, the Evil Eye is always welcome to bolster the ranged attack power of the Asylum. |
Elemental Elementals are immune to certain spells (such as Poison) that only work on normal, living creatures.Flying Flying allows this creature to fly over obstacles, creatures, heroes and castle walls.Stone Skin This creature's Stone Skin increases its Melee and Ranged Defense by 20%. The Stoneskin spell has no additional effect. |
|||
---|---|---|---|
Gargoyle Health: 22 Damage: 4-6 Population: 8 Cost: 160 |
Shots: N/A Attack: 14 RangeAtt: N/A Defence: 16 RangeDef: 16 |
Mana: N/A Speed: 7 Movement: 13 AdvMove: 29 Killing XP: 38 |
|
Gargoyles have naturally stony skin, which improved their defense. They are also elemental creatures, so spells and abilities that affect living things do not affect them. | |||
Comments: Another average level 2 creature with excellent speed and movement. The specials it has acquired are good defensively, as some spells don’t affect the gargoyle, and creatures do less damage to it. It deals poor damage, so it doesn't specialise in any area except movement and speed. |
Hypnotize In addition to this creature's normal attack, its Hypnotize ability has a chance of taking control of an enemy opponent for one turn. |
|||
---|---|---|---|
Mermaid Health: 38 Damage: 5-8 Population: N/A Cost: |
Shots: N/A Attack: 15 RangeAtt: N/A Defence: 13 RangeDef: 13 |
Mana: N/A Speed: 5 Movement: 6 AdvMove: 19 Killing XP: 39 |
|
Mermaids have a chance of hypnotizing their opponents, giving them control of their target for one turn. They are also immune to the Charm and Diplomacy skills. Has 0% magic resistance, immune to skills. | |||
Comments: A rather average creature aside from the above average HP and the possible hypnotism it incurs on enemy units. Being unrecruitable is a definite weakness, but it is a creature that can aid in halting enemy advances in combat if acquired. |
Undead Undead creatures are not affected by morale, or by spells and abilities that only work on living creatures. Some spells and artifacts (such as Holy Water) have special effects on Undead creatures. Undead creature, however, give an additional -2 penalty to all non-Death creatures.Curse Curse causes this creature's normal attack to also act as the Death Magic spell Curse. |
|||
---|---|---|---|
Mummy Health: 30 Damage: 5-8 Population: 8 Cost: 170 |
Shots: N/A Attack: 15 RangeAtt: N/A Defence: 16 RangeDef: 16 |
Mana: N/A Speed: 4 Movement: 6 AdvMove: 19 Killing XP: 26 |
|
Mummies automatically Curse any enemy they attack. | |||
Comments: The strongest level 2 creature statistically in the Necropolis army. Its poor specials let it down, but it has fair HP and damage ratings which make it a sturdy ally. |
Regeneration This creature's Regenetation ability allows it to completely heal all of his wounds at the end of each turn. Regenerates up to 50 hit points per turn. |
|||
---|---|---|---|
Troll Health: 45 Damage: 6-12 Population: 6 Cost: 230 |
Shots: N/A Attack: 16 RangeAtt: N/A Defence: 15 RangeDef: 15 |
Mana: N/A Speed: 3 Movement: 4 AdvMove: 27 Killing XP: 54 |
|
Trolls have an amazing constitution which allows them to regenerate all of their hit points at the start of each combat round. | |||
Comments: With 45 HP, the troll has the second most amount of HP of a level 2 creature. It deals 6-12 damage, and with the regeneration ability, it realistically has the most HP of a level 2. However, it is quite slow, but it's adventure map movement is commendable. |
Level 4
Devouring This creature's Devouring ability gives it a chance of swallowing an enemy whole when it attacks. Note: This 20% chance is calculated for each Sea Monster in the stack, so more than one unit in a stack can be affected per attack. |
|||
---|---|---|---|
Sea Monster Health: 275 Damage: 45-65 Population: N/A |
Shots: N/A Attack: 35 RangeAtt: N/A Defence: 34 RangeDef: 34 |
Mana: N/A Speed: 5 Movement: 9 AdvMove: 24 Killing XP: 624 |
|
Beware these legendary creatures of the deep! Sea monsters have a chance of devouring any opponent they attack. They are also immune to the Charm and Diplomacy skills. Has 0% magic resistance (Immune to Skills). | |||
Comments: A very strong creature, similar to the Behemoth. Devour can be linked to the Medusas stone gaze, and the Sea Monster is able to move rather far. 275 HP and great attack, defense, and damage ratings enable it to quickly defeat the opponent. Unfortunately, it cannot be recruited, therefore making it a less likely candidate for an army. |
