Chaos / Asylum Creatures
Level 1
Stealth With Stealth, this creature is invisible at a distance on the Adventure Map to 2nd level creature and heroes with Basic Scouting. The creature is invisible to adjacent 1st level creature and heroes with no Scouting. |
|||
---|---|---|---|
Bandit Health: 10 Damage: 1-3 Population: 26 Cost: 20 |
Shots: N/A Attack: 9 RangeAtt: N/A Defence: 9 RangeDef: 9 |
Mana: N/A Speed: 7 Movement: 9 AdvMove: 23 Killing XP: 6 |
|
Bandits are invisible to 2nd level creatures on the adventure map and to heroes with Basic Scouting. Bandits are invisible when adjacent to 1st level creatures and heroes with no Scouting. | |||
Comments: While this unit may prove to be average in battle, their capability on the adventure map makes their presence worthwhile. It is a good scout (a little slow, though) and with it’s stealth ability, is able to retrieve loose resources without a fight against first level creatures, and heroes without scouting. |
Ranged The Ranged ability allows this creature to attack enemies at a distance, but in melee combat this creature does half damage unless it has the Normal Melee ability.Normal Melee This creature's Normal Melee means it doesn't suffer the melee combat damage penalty suffered by most ranged creatures.Short Range Short Range dramatically decreases the damage of this ranged creature's attack at long range. |
|||
---|---|---|---|
Orc Health: 12 Damage: 1-3 Population: 16 Cost: 34 |
Shots: 6 Attack: 11 RangeAtt: 11 Defence: 9 RangeDef: 9 |
Mana: N/A Speed: 4 Movement: 6 AdvMove: 18 Killing XP: 10 |
|
An Orc's throwing axe does much damage when thrown for a short distance as it does when used in hand-to-hand. At longer distances, the damage decreases drastically. | |||
Comments: An Orc is a slightly above average level 1 creature. It possesses a fair amount of HP, and has the ranged ability, but only 6 shots and short range make it less competent than other shooters. |
Level 2
Block Block gives this creature a 30% chance of completely blocking any melee, ranged or area effect attack. |
|||
---|---|---|---|
Minotaur Health: 38 Damage: 5-10 Population: 6 Cost: 230 |
Shots: N/A Attack: 16 RangeAtt: N/A Defence: 15 RangeDef: 15 |
Mana: N/A Speed: 6 Movement: 6 AdvMove: 19 Killing XP: 53 |
|
Minotaurs are highly skilled with the battleaxe, giving them a chance of completely deflecting any enemy attack. | |||
Comments: The Minotaur is a statistically sound level 2 creature, deals fair damage, but does have a low attack/defense rating. This weakness is somewhat compensated for by the useful 30% physical block special ability. |
Level 3
Flying Flying allows this creature to fly over obstacles, creatures, heroes and castle walls.Fire Shield Fire Shield surrounds this creature in a wall of fire, allowing it to do fire damage in addition to its normal attack to an enemy. 25% of received damage returned.Fire Attack In combat, this creature's normal attack is a Fire Attack, so targets with Fire Resistance will take less damage.Fire Resistance Fire Resistance makes this creature immune to fire-based spells, and to damage from breath attacks if the creature is a secondary target. The creature also takes half damage from enemies with fire-based attacks. |
|||
---|---|---|---|
Efreet Health: 80 Damage: 10-20 Population: 4 Cost: 850 |
Shots: N/A Attack: 25 RangeAtt: N/A Defence: 23 RangeDef: 23 |
Mana: N/A Speed: 6 Movement: 13 AdvMove: 29 Killing XP: 161 |
|
Efreeti are surrounded by an aura of flame that damages any enemy who strikes them. Efreeti are also immune to fire-based spells and take half damage from fire-based attacks (such as those from fire elementals and other efreeti). Immune to Fire. | |||
Comments: A weaker creature statistically, but with 2 great specials, the best of which is fire shield, dealing 25% of the damage back to the unit that attacked the Efreet. However, its great speed isn’t enough (for me) to outweigh the disparity in hit points between it and the Nightmare. |
Terror Terror allows this creature to cast Terror on an opponent. Enemies who are frozen by Terror cannot take any actions for one turn. Costs 6 mana. |
|||
---|---|---|---|
Nightmare Health: 110 Damage: 12-26 Population: 4 Cost: 800 |
Shots: N/A Attack: 23 RangeAtt: N/A Defence: 20 RangeDef: 20 |
Mana: 6 Speed: 6 Movement: 9 AdvMove: 23 Killing XP: 148 |
|
The fearsome and wild nightmares have the ability to cast Terror on an opponent, causing their enemy to lose their turn. Casts Terror (6). | |||
Comments: With the second most HP in the third level, the Nightmare is a very sturdy creature. It deals good damage, and the terror ability is a great specialty which disables the movement of a non-undead creature of your choice. |
Level 4
Flying Flying allows this creature to fly over obstacles, creatures, heroes and castle walls.Immune to Magic This creature is completely Immune to magic, including spells cast by friendly troops.Breath Attack This creature's Breath Attack allows it to attack with a blast of fire that may also hadm creatures directly behind an enemy target. |
|||
---|---|---|---|
Black Dragon Health: 400 Damage: 55-110 Population: 1 8000 + 4 |
Shots: N/A Attack: 40 RangeAtt: N/A Defence: 40 RangeDef: 40 |
Mana: N/A Speed: 7 Movement: 15 AdvMove: 30 Killing XP: 1233 |
|
The omnious black dragon is completely immune to magic, and can attack multiple enemies with it's fiery breath. Has 100% magic resistance. | |||
Comments: The second best creature in the game has great attack and defense ratings, as well as great damage, specialties and speed. Despite its cost and growth, it is a very worthwhile creature to have in your army. |
No Retaliation This creature's No Retaliation ability allows it to attack without any chance of retaliation.Multiple Attack Multiple Attck allows this creature to attack all nearby enemies simultaneously. |
|||
---|---|---|---|
Hydra Health: 250 Damage: 28-60 Population: 2 4000 + 2 |
Shots: N/A Attack: 30 RangeAtt: N/A Defence: 26 RangeDef: 26 |
Mana: N/A Speed: 6 Movement: 7 AdvMove: 21 Killing XP: 617 |
|
A hydra can strike at all surrounding units at the same time, and because they strike with such blinding speed their enemies cannot retaliate. | |||
Comments: The Hydra deals the most damage in the game when attacking multiple units (300+), and also has the no retaliation ability. While it has an average attack and defense rating, its damage and HP make up for those discrepancies. It is rather slow on the adventure map when compared to the Black Dragon and other level 4 creatures. |
